The entrance isn't great which gives you a bad impression BUT the rooms were really nice - bed, sheets and pillows super cozy. Room was very very clean (spotless) and all of the staff were very nice. Breakfast was great - better than I expected to be honest. You have a number of hot items - eggs, sausages, bacon, beans and also a wide array of breads, cheese and salami. You have pastries, honey, salad and jams and even a breakfast cereal station. Tea and variety of hot drinks and breakfast juices too. Wished only that the sausages were not the processed ones but the quality was still good and again the whole place was very clean. There is a roof top restaurant which I liked also. Location is great and good value for money. Will be returning again to Athens and will book this hotel again.

Was apprehensive about staying in Dorian Inn having read many of the reviews about the area. We arrived quite late due to taxi strike by underground. Hotel is situated a one minute walk from Omonia underground station. There were some unsavory people roaming around but would expect this from any major city and did not feel unsafe as there was local police on most corners. Reception at the Hotel is underwhelming but all staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. Room was excellent, recently renovated, very clean and a good size. Excellent shower in the en-suite. Roof Top Pool and Bar is a must see with amazing views over the entire city and beyond. We were in Athens for a football match and on a budget. There are probably nicer hotels in slightly nicer areas but you would expect to pay more. This hotel is perfect if you are just staying 1-3 nights in Athens.
