Basic but clean Excellent location Would definitely stay here again

For you except mobility scooter

Nice cheap hotel in the busy area of the old town. Good value for money, room not too bad, we were on the fourth floor but had no balcony in the one we had but nice large windows with a view of sea and the rock. We went with the breakfast option but to tell the truth, wish we didn't, as mentioned in an earlier review, the cooked food was not very warm at all, so we skipped that and just had toast or bread rolls and drinks, which was good enough for us but if we ever go there again, we would not include the breakfast in the booking, as there are so many places to get a nice breakfast around that area. It was only around 3 mins walk to be down the on the front where there are some more places to get a good breakfast, we did like the White Lion and if you walk right down to the far end by the new town area, the Stag and Pheasant do a lovely breakfast, by the time you have walked there you feel as though you have earned a breakfast and maybe a pint. To sum it up, we would go there again just for the location and price.

I have just checked out this hotel a day early due to idiots running about the corridors screaming and shouting all night for 3 nights, the room itself has very little positive to say, it only has one window opening onto a small square with around 8 noisy air con units, the tv was so small above the bathroom door I couldn’t see it from the bed, although there was no English speaking channels on it anyway, there was also no soap in either dispenser to even wash my hands, it is in a good location though!!

This is a great place for a short stay. We were there for 5 nights. The check in was quick and friendly, we had to leave credit card details as a deposit but nothing was charged. The hotel is spotlessly clean and has a lovely fesh smell in the corridors.The rooms are basic but absolutely perfect for exploring, clean and comfortable and were cleaned daily. The location is fantastic slap bang in the middle of the old town with a 4 minute walk to the beach. The hotel has a nice bar attached to it that also sells smash burgers. A really good hotel with lovely staff in a top location.
