Just back from a week's stay here with a group of friends. Had a lovely time, staff very friendly and helpful, rooms were cleaned every day and had everything you could need, big terrace outside room . Area was very quiet or maybe it was because it was very early in the year. Short walk (1KM) to get to the main tourist area where there are loads of restaurant's and shops. Great value for money, roof top pool, and bar/snack bar were great (Manuel was extremely helpful). Overall lovely stay

Thus is our third time staying here, absolutely beautiful, nice and quiet away from the centre, beautiful views, rooms are clean , pool area nice and chilled, Emanuel at reception was amazing such good friendly banter always happy to chat and give recommendations of places to eat or visit, thoroughly enjoyed our stay, will definitely be back again

The positives: Beautiful view of Puerto from the room. Nice to have a kitchenette and a balcony. There's a rooftop pool which was very uncrowded while I was there. It's about a 15 minute walk downhill into town, half of that through a pedestrians-only area. The negative: The rooms are a little on the small side. Most of the space is taken up by the beds. So this is probably not the place you want to come on holiday if you like to spend time relaxing and reading in the room. But what's even worse was my experience with the hotel's laissez-faire attitude towards smoking. In the room right next door there were a bunch of people smoking on the balcony, with the smoke coming directly into my room. I honestly thought that front desk staff would do something about it. Either tell the guests to knock it off, or offer a different room. But much to my surprise they informed me that smoking IS allowed on the balcony. There is only a small divider between balconies if your neighbors are smoking and you have the door open it comes right into your room. It means you're going to be hit by second hand smoke. Maybe I'm missing the logic, but doesn't this defeat the whole purpose of a 'non-smoking' hotel? I went to speak to the fron desk and they said: nothing they can do about it. I was not offered to change rooms and when I asked about that possibility I just got a long bla bla bla. This is really not the level of customer service that I am used to. Why not try to do something to keep the guest happy? This changed a relatively positive experience into a negative one. I'm letting you know what happened so you can decide for yourselves. It's a shame because it has the makings of a decent hotel, but their attitude seems to be "if you are a non-smoker then "tough luck".
